“To the History” — Stamp Art Exhibition at Iranian Artists Forum

I’m honored to have been selected to participate in the “To the History” stamp art exhibition, held in May 2025 at the prestigious Iranian Artists Forum in Tehran.

This curated exhibition brought together a diverse group of contemporary Iranian artists to explore and reinterpret historical and cultural narratives through the medium of stamp art. My contribution consisted of four original papercut artworks, each inspired by the rich and symbolic presence of Iranian flora in our visual and cultural heritage.

Working with the papercut technique, I aimed to capture the fragility, elegance, and timelessness of Persian botanical forms. Through layered silhouettes and intricate hand-cut details, my intention was to reflect the harmony between nature and identity — a theme deeply rooted in Persian art and poetry.

Participating in this exhibition was a meaningful experience for me, not only as an artist working within a traditional yet contemporary medium, but also as someone deeply connected to the cultural symbols that continue to shape our collective memory.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this thoughtful artistic dialogue, and to share my work in a space that celebrates both history and innovation.
