I’m Niloofar, a paper-cut artist, painter, and illustrator. Born in 1991 in Shiraz, Iran, my artistic journey began in 2006. I studied graphic design at Art High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in painting from the University of Guilan in 2013. I continued my education with a master’s in illustration from Tehran University of Art, completing my studies in 2020 with a thesis on Persian manuscripts. Since 2020 I am a dependent member of Iranian Illustrators Society.

As a painter and illustrator, I have experimented with various techniques but am best known for my papercut works. Art, to me, is the expression of personal experiences and emotions. My mission is to bring my inner world to life and share it with my audience, creating a common language through art.

In the section below some of my portfolio highlights and new projects are briefly presented. Furthermore, you can find more information about me HERE.
